Catalina School Adventures is eager to hire qualified candidates for an exciting outdoor education program. Instructors will guide 20-25 students, spanning from 5th grade to high school, in five core island classes. This role requires candidates to be physically fit and proficient in swimming, hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for the ocean, conservation, and educating young people. While experience is a significant advantage, we are open to training the right individual. All newly hired staff will participate in a training weekend, regardless of their prior experience.
This position includes accommodations, meals, and boat tickets. It is an overnight role, with staff residing in separate cabins from the students on the island. Although there are no private facilities, common areas for staff use are available. Please note that cabins do not have electricity or cell service; wifi is accessible only in the staff lounge. Candidates must also be CPR and First Aid certified.
